BRIAN CHEATHAM

I grew up fast in my early 20’s. I met my wife, and we married young, having our first child together before I turned 21. While working full-time and raising two children, I earned a B.A. in History from the University of North Texas. History isn’t the traditional route to a career in finance, but I view those formative college years with a great deal of pride and accomplishment. The adversity that I faced in my early twenties laid the foundation for my strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, and financial literacy.

In 2018, I joined Diamond Client Group and learned from the senior advisors in my role as the firm’s Executive Assistant. During that time, I earned 7 and 66 securities licenses and an insurance license. I became a jack of all trades for Diamond Client Group’s operations for the next 4 years. In 2022, I was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer, focused on constantly improving all aspects of our business operations, from the client service experience, to taking care of our staff and advisory team, to building relationships with vendors, or improving our technology and capabilities.

While I love my role here at DCG, my real passions include dominating competitors on the basketball court, climbing mountains, playing guitar, and being at home with my family!
